| Training opportunities for carers and professionals |
Most training for carers takes place within the setting of local support groups. These often bring in people who can give talks and demonstrations about topics that are of interest to carers, eg information about medical conditions. To find out about where groups meet, go to the page for your District and click on the button for Support. There are a range of more formal courses available for carers, which run at different times of the year and in different locations.
